FAQ

1.) This game is weird, I don't get it, what are you supposed to do?

The purpose of N8* is to have fun and play. You can do whatever you like, there's no direction, but there is a lot to do.

2.) LAAAAAAAAG!!!

Uh, thats not really a question... But if your game is slow try pressing Esc and changing some Video Settings. If you are still having troubles, post on the forums and we might be able to help you out.

3.) How do I build?

To build you need to own a cell or use the Public one. Read the Tutorial.

4.) How I mine for Fish?

In the Fish Mines! Just hit the fish rocks with your sword. Try your luck and get a Fish Axe to break up the fish rocks quicker. (Fish Mines are located at -10,9)

5.) How do I change my appearance?

You can change your colors by standing in a shrine you own, or a shrine in Safe Castle, and clicking the "Set Colors" button at the top of the screen.

6.) How do I get Tokens\Tickets and what can I do with them?

Tickets:
To get ticket items talk to the Robot in the Arcade. Its the blue building with the red roof. You can buy tickets on the 8bit.neverdaunt.com website. Nothing you buy with tickets gives any kind of advantage in gameplay.

Tokens:
There are lots of ways to get tokens. Kill monsters (tokens are a rare drop), Sell fish to the Fishman or own a Cell and put it in STATIC Mode to generate 1 token every 10min.

7.) What the heck are these red glowing walls and why cant I walk past them?

Cells are separated by faintly glowing walls. A red border appears when you cross cells. It means the next Cells are loading and you can't leave the current cell while this happens.
